Many students finish University and then simply throw away any unwanted items. The MyUniSwap.com team decided to investigate by going to have a look at the bins in some of the student flat areas at the end of term...

The items that you see below have been thrown away by other students. If they used MyUniSwap.com this could have all been avoided:

All of these items here could be in working order. The usual case is that the students don't have the space to take the items home with them or have the time to sell the items. Therefore, they end up sat in the bin, creaeting more unnecessary waste.

This television may have been thrown away by an international student. It isn't cost effective for the international students to take big items like this home with them. Once again they don't have the time to sell the items, so they just thow them away.
